Well RW and DW and son made it to Corpus Christi yesterday afternoon late. They'll go and meet Jessie in person for the first time (they have talked a lot on the phone) today.

Well, DW, RW and son got to meet and "take" Jessie on Friday. They are spending time in the hotel this weekend, meet with the judge today and should be on their way home as a family tomorrow. Jessie is doing well as they all go through the adjustment period.
I actually got to speak to Jessie!!! He sounds so sweet and a lot like my 4 yr old son on the telephone. DW indicates all is going well so far.
Guess what? His foster parents had a boat! It was an old flat bottom fishing boat...ha ha. I can't imagine what he will think when he gets a look at the boat club!!!

Man, I missed my computer!!! Well, long story short (for now), we're back all safe and sound. That was a LONG drive!!!
We put over 2k miles on the ol' Expedition, but I think it was worth it! We had a snag with Ga. ICTC, the people who approve taking kids from one state to another, so we got back a day later than we'd planned.
Man, we're exhausted! Just wanted to post and let everyone know we made it back in one piece, and will fill in the blanks later.
Thanks everyone for the well wishes!
