Question Bob and Ron.

Thought you guys were gonna come up to Allatoona a few times this year and raft up in "cocktail cove"?

RW.......Yep. I will make an effort to head over that way this year without a doubt. I may need to get some ramp info from you as to which is the closest to me if I'm coming rt20.

...........and go figure (if the weather folks are right), looks like stormy weather coming this way end-of-week.

...also. With this weeks rain, up at Charleston Park which is right down the road from where I'm stored on 6Mile, the ramps are now under water...........ok.......there is about 1' of yellow at the end showing.

Exclamation We don't need it!!!

We went today to check on our boats and I had to WADE in waist high water to get to the dock!!! The water is usually 28.5 feet in the slip our cruiser sits in when the lake is full. It's now @ 36.5 feet!!! The ramp we normally use for the Warlock is completely in accessable, as is Marine Max, (Sea Ray dealer in our Marina) by anything other than water, or an EXTREMELY lifted 4x4. At the ramp that most people use, Blockhouse, you have to swim to get to the dock! You can't even see the ramp!!! LOL!!!

When is the Hartwell deal? There is a poker run Next weekend (May 24th)
This is what I found - Lake Hartwell & Golden Corner Lakes Power Squadrons present the Hartwell Gold/Rock 101 Poker Run benefiting Meals on Wheels on May 24. Prize money of $1000, $500, and $250 wil be awarded to top hands.

Default Send tanker trucks!!!

Weather reports more rain on the way!!! If you want some of it, send trucks!!! Hartwell is the weekend of June 7th. If the rain keeps up, we may be coming in our boats as opposed to towing!!!

Question Good ?...

This will be my 1st time on Hartwell in a boat so I have NO idea where we're gonna be putting in at. I do know we're staying at the Shoney Inn off I-85 @ the GA/SC border, if that helps any... Any other LMPC members gonna try to be there?

RW. The only ramp I'm familiar with is the one just off Exit#1 in SC. In-fact, when you cross the bridge, on the far left side you will see it in a small cove.

Not bad, I've pulled out of there. There is sand on the ramp though in some spots (if that matters).

To access, get off X1 and go about 2miles. On left is the State park entrance.

** I thought you guys usually put in up at Portman on Exit#10?
