Speaking of OB's ???
I've often wondered, but never had a definitive answer to this question of performance between I/O's -vs- OB's - for instance,
would a 300hp OB push a boat faster than a 300hp I/O ? I know there is a lot of variables to consider, but as general rule is this true?
Or is just a personal preference .i.e (less maintenance, easier to work on, less part to go wrong in general) etc. etc. over the I/O's

Saw that boat with the new triple 300s at this years KW Races. Interestingly enough, he anchored just off my boat. A few minutes later, a 36' Midnight w I/O anchored off the other side. What are the odds of 3 old school midnights anchored off each other.
