I need a race faring for a 37' to replace the windshield. Will have the windshield for sale if anyone wants it. I think Mike Britin @ b bracket used to make them and they are out of business... any other leeds would be appreciated.

Mid Ocean not sure if u have been reading my posts last 37 Midnight, I built my own fairing out of divinycell.

I made the patterns first to liking out of the 1" pink foam 2x8panels you buy at home depot.

After a few scribes and photo shop on computer at home

I found the look I liked and made the patterns out of pink foam then copied them onto divinycell.

I molded them into shape, took them back off glassed them and then glassed them on the boat.

I did the same with the "handle inserts on port and stbd stern quarters

I know a real pain :eek:tin the ass but maybe you could do the same with ann aluminum fabricator once you have your own pattern.

I didnt want to go that route due to lack of metal shops where I lived and past experience with them.

I alkso raised my dash/helm area which led to me having to set back the entire dash and fairing.

I am extremely happy with the results:cool:

Excellent job.

I was thinking of making a Malimie mold over the windscreen to get the proper angles and then pull a part off of that. I could put the core... maybe nidacore into then... I really like what you ahve done..

Thanks I appreciate it, i started out with the dimensions from my buddies Midnight and then just made it the wat I wanted.

You probably could just put braces on the windshield (so it doesn't change shape) remove the windshield and take it to a aluminum fabricator and have them copy it.

P.S. I was looking at your Midnight a few years back.
