That's awesome. I didn't realize til I looked back at your old picture that you got rid of the "on the edge" graphics. Is that added reinforcing on the transom for the new power? The LED trim display looks nice, I kept the old mechanical ones on mine. Interesting that my forward tank which is 5' in front of the helm bulkhead is 82gal. and my 2 rear tanks are 60gal each, just thinking about center of gravity/balance.
I spoke with Brad a BBlades a few weeks ago and he thought 4 blade B 1's or possibly their own " OBS" prop that has a 14 3/4" Diameter would be their top choice. We'll see soon enough I hope... have a set of 25" mirage plus's just to get a baseline.

Sweet Machine MdonziM. Some more pics of this beast when you can. Intotwins, so Mark McManus used the 32 midnight hull and deck mold when he laid up your boat in 1995? Some more pics of intotwins machine would be nice as well. Both are beautiful timeless classics.

I think the story went something like this. My boat was customer ordered and built 82'-83' by Bing Goode at Midnight Express. Sometime around 85' ish he got pinched by the govt. and in a deal made some number of boats for them and then the company went away. Somehow Michael Arronow ended up with the molds for the 32' and I guess he let McManus make one or two in 95'. I spoke to Goode after I bought my 32 and he thought they built 20 or so but I have only seen pictures of 5 or 6.

Great info MdonziM. Your 32 had arnesons on it before the guy before you put the outboards on it. If you had bought it with the inboard arneson setup would you have kept it that way or converted it to outboards. Just curious that's why I ask. But your boat is a beast of a beauty and a machine in any event. You have done a true service to her in the way you have carried out this Resto. Hats off to you.

I didn't hear it strait from Bing but an old thread here said it went like this. Tommy Adams from Signature had his 28' that came from the Magnum 27. That hull mold was cut in the middle and lengthened 4 feet but before Adams could finish the 32' he was killed. Bing bought the hull mold and had a deck designed. I have a Mag 27 and the topsides are identical just stretched, but the strakes are much larger.

Mac - I only bought the boat because it was changed to outboard. I've thought about how cool it could have been with a couple of Ilmores or something but my excuse for undertaking this was to have more room for the family than my Magnum.
Turbo - Don't know about the timeline of the hull, maybe I'll try Bing again once I'm done.
Well the last month has been painfully slow. Taking the boat to the 3rd upholsterer Monday to install the cockpit carpet and some cushion work to finish everything off.
Looking ahead to the first splash and looking for input on where to set the prop shaft relative to the bottom. If the motors were mounted on the transom I've heard 1" below the bottom would be a place to start. But with 29" of bracket and jackplate offset I have also heard you go up 1/2" for every foot of offset, so up 1 1/4" puts me even with the bottom to up 1/4"? How does that sound? Also, will be turning a set of 25" mirage plus props I have just to get an idea, will probably end up going 4 blade which would be slightly higher again.
