Name is Don and I am located at the 2.5mm on the Gravois Arm. North side of the lake. In the end of the big bay where the Sea Rays like to raft up. We usually have the flagpole up when we are at the Lake and the second flag is a white Cigarette flag.
Have a 1996 Cigarette 20' Son of a Gun, solid white in color, and sometimes you will find a White with Blue stripe Donzi Classic 18' in the boat dock. The Cig 20 is your normal 76mph Blackhawk 502MPI type of boat; the 18' Donzi Classic is still being sorted out but it has a 427 World Products SBC and either a Bravo XR, Blackhawk or a Bravo/Imco Shorty outdrive bolted to its tail. Had is up to 84 mph while still accelerating; but still trying to find the best handling combination at that speed in this little boat.

Is your nordic a mid-cabin? I saw one for the first time on the gravois arm by gentle slopes cove, I live right across the way from that cove. I also saw a closed deck 28 heat go by, I was interested in buying a nordic last summer but haven't seen one in person so I opted away from them.

Gotta say, there are definitely some very nice boats on the water at LOTO. All kinds.
Hope to start meeting some folks out there sometime.

Most likely, that was me (I don't have my cove names down yet, so not sure where Gentle Slopes is). I do have an open bow. Grey checkers, yellow and blue fade accents. Newly-applied OSO sticker on the transom. I'm very surprised that I haven't seen a single other Nordic on the lake yet.....especially since I've covered quite a bit of ground over the past 6 weeks exporing. I get quite a few double-takes from people -- so I'm presuming a lot of folks haven't seen the 28' Heat much, and didn't know it comes with an open-bow configuration. A nice couple in an Envision struck up a conversation with me at the Gas Hole, and were interested to see the Nordic.

Very nice looking boat in the water, that was the one I saw. Has the boat been good for you?

The boat's been fantastic. I'd buy another in a heartbeat.
I think I figured out where Gentle Slopes is (are?). We floated through later in the afternoon/early evening. If it's where I'm thinking it is it's a beautiful area...large lots...big houses..lots of grass to the water.
