There is a fun run on Friday if you want to join it. Might be something to consider since it is your first time down and you can follow the crowd.

Was at loto last weekend, going to shelbyville saturday, looks like a nice weekend.

Where is Eagle Creek Cove?

Eagle Creek cove is just around the point of the resort, it seems to be a popular spot this year.

Kaskaskia River, Rend lake and once or twice a year Carlyle. We also do LOTO, Shelbyville, Lake St. Clair and a few lakes in WI.

It is aka: Cove 4, It is across the from Marker 4 and back toward the west a bit. Directly on the west side of Eagle Creek. I believe that due to the water conditions, drownings and careless drunks there has been a migration to cove 4. We have been frequenting 4 all summer and find it much more enjoyable and kid friendly. Over the weekend there was probably 100+ tied up in there.
