What time of the yr you thinking ? if you switch to TRL I use to live there and know the lake pretty well.

cool! Right now, looking at July 10 - 17. Im good with the rustic, low key vibe described of Beaver. I think that area around Beaver is all dry, does that mean you can't have a few beers in a cooler in the boat?

Table Rock is my "home away from home" so like some others on here, I know it very well. Beaver is a great lake, I didn't want to imply anything different, probably has a little bit clearer water than TR (which is still just stupid clear unless it's rained/flooded); I know some people who love diving the old structures there.

The county Beaver Lake is in went wet a few years ago. You are good.

Hello!

Resurrecting this thread here. Im looking to haul my Baja 35 Outlaw to Beaver Lake this summer coming up. I've chosen Prairie Creek and see they were recently bought by a group out of Dallas. They said they can accommodate me on an end cap for overnight parking, trailer though a bit more issue to resolve for. So, what's below Hwy 12 bridge as far as boating is concerned? Good and clean or gets stumpy or sand bar, etc? TIA!

There isn't much going on south of the bridge. Water does get shallower after you pass Horseshoe Bend. I have run my Cigarette down there a few times, but I don't love it. Water clarity isn't as nice that direction either.

Thanks Buck! Super helpful, ya south of 12 is more just to say I covered/saw more of the lake, but last thing I want is a problem with stump or sandbar. As they say, "is the juice worth the squeeze"? Sounds like might not be, short of maybe a mile down or so to check the box.

If water levels are normal or slightly high it won’t be an issue at all. If they’re a little bit low I’d pass. The channel will be plenty deep if you have a plotter that can help you stay in it.

Yep. Bull Shoals was made to contain ALL of Table Rock AND Beaver if necessary...for years it was running 35' above normal, destroyed a lot of trees, buildings, campsites...the marinas were all a hodge-podge of makeshift rafts to make it to and from shore...crazy!

I'm now giving Table Rock consideration, just ordered the two maps that it takes for TR. So, what's a big open space Lanch area for 35' Baja and Excursion with a Marina where I can get a slip for a week. Driving in from San Antonio area. Been 24 yrs since last on TR, Kimberling City but don't recall much of the facility. Thx.
