Congrats Capt. Ron's. You have very big shoes to fill. But if anybody can do it I have no doubt Ron Duggan can. Good Luck and we are looking forward to it.

I'd stay where ever you stayed before. 12-15 miles up stream in your ride ought to take you 10-15 minutes not exactly a long commute (probaby less time than that). As far as lodging up there is concerned you would probably be best off renting a house. There are lots of restuarants/bars up that way (fish company, bulldogs, bucks Dock, Jp's, Captn Rons, etc).

Tuscany is the name of a relatively new condo development up that way...very nice.

Personally I'd stay in Osage Beach (old location) if you have to drive to something by car your much closer to the action.

Going to be a FUN ride back to party cove! Hold ON!

I saw drawings that Capitan Ron's put together to present to the committee for the shootout. They have a lot of work to do this winter, but it's going to be awesome.

there are a couple of us that stay here all season. It is on the 10mm of the Big Niangua so only 13miles by water to the shootout, and all pretty calm.

Also I heard that Capt Rons will have camping I dont know true that is though.
