Default This weekend.....On the water!

Has anybody else been out yet around central, il? I went for a quick shakedown cruise saturday afternoon (55 sunny). It was windy on lake shelbyville but i was just glad to hear the boat run with no silent thunder. Just curious....

I splashed my boat last Wednesday afternoon (3/26) and put it on the lift on Dock 3 at Clinton Lake.

Did you buy your Formula from Gibbs?

I bought it from jim and jeff last year early in the season. I went through two starboard motors due to craptastic old manifolds and a bad lifter set on the first rebuild. I upgraded to imco's and the new motor the second time around seems to be running great!

Cool. I know the boat. Looked at it a couple times. Nick Walters did the original work on the starboard motor before he left Clinton Marine.

That's good to know. I know both motors were done at some point because the heads had markings on them that they were to be done for clinton marine. Other than that i think the boat spent it's whole life in the ozarks til joe martin brought it home to decatur. You will have to give me a shout if you are on shelbyville in the summer

Default 454 Platform question

Do you have any pics of the platform where it meets up with the rear of the boat? I saw some in the past that curved with the rub rail rather than straight across. Just wondering how yours looks when you are standing on it.

Thanks!

I will get some pics, my platform is straight across. Below the rub rail the transom doesn't curve like it does above.
