For the last six years we have 4-6 families ( kids as young as 5-14) tow to LOTO for a week of go fast fun.
This year we are talking about going to Table rock and taking the Master Crafts for a week of wake boarding. We thought we would make this more of a kid oriented year. Is this crazy to tow 600 miles for a week of boating in 22-24 foot ski boats. We normally take 33' to 42' boats to LOTO. Are there enough thing to do and see on this lake, and are we going to get beat to death in a boat this size? I know I would never take these boats to LOTO...

You wil be fine on Table Rock.

Go to LOTO and take the big boats and a ski boat or two.

Table rock has plenty of big coves to enjoy water sports, & if ya get out before ten am ya should be fine in the main channel. The roughest spots on the lake are kimberling city & around the state park/damm area. Your tow boats should be just fine.

we could run our 23 islander from branson to kimberling city at around 50 w/ out having to touch the throttles on the weekends. from kimb city to shell knob was even smoother. if its windy then you will have some chop to contend w/.

as far as things to see off the water, for kids you can do silver dollar city, celebration city & the branson landing.

You'll be fine at Table rock in those boats. If you still would rather do LOTO, take one or two ski boats and do the water sports first thing in the morning. I get the kids up early and take them to a really nice cove in the Glaize arm just past the Grand Glaize Bridge or back into the State Park area for tubing and skiing in the mornings. Back to the slip by 10 or so before it gets too rough. This is over the week of July 4th each year staying at the 14MM in Porta Cima.

Remember...no wake in the 14mm cove
