sept. offshore boat races at loto

We enjoyed watching the races last year and wouldn't miss it for the world...hopefully my regular ride will be rigged otherwise we'll have take the wife's dancer....lol...I wouldn't think twice about watching from a smaller boat, the congregation of boats isn't the same as the shootout they are spread all around the course layout and it's very calm in comparison when the event is over....

As far as the roughness of the ride, I think it depends on whether you are going upstream or down stream. The ride upstream was as fun if not more fun than the ride after the shootout for us.

Don't forget a good anchor, it was windy last year and a million people tried to tie up to us w/out an anchor. I had to start big leaguing them after we broke lose three times. The races are a great event for the lake. The wife and I enjoyed them more than the shoot out. Can't wait for them again this year!

Nope it's not rigged yet...been up at Advanced for about a month now and progress is moving very slow to say the least....Right now I'm not doing anything with the motors but I'm having Arneson ASD-7M's installed and have removed the XR's.... I'll start pushing this week to make sure it's done by the OSS races since there's no way it will be completed this week...
Guess we will just have to watch the shootout from the wifey's 280 dancer...at least that's in the water...
