Ran all day and all we seen was one WP fly by Dog Days when we stopped for our cards. We all thought they would had been out in swarms. Anyone have any run ins with the law? Surely there's a good story out there...

the boat I was in (I was not driving) got pulled over friday night. Clocked us at 50 at one point and 37 at another. Driver was a little intoxicated
but since they didnt know if it was us or the boat next to us they didnt ticket us. I saw several boats pulled over throughout the weekend. Watched to boats go under the bridge on plane and stay on plane saturday til they got pulled over.....haha

Obviously in tighter coves like BWJ or Party cove if passing boats that are tied together common sense is to show some consideration for others.

Grand Glaize No wake is on the weekends and holidays. Shootout weekend Friday doesn't qualify as a holiday in the eyes of the WP. It is also fair game after official sunset at which point you have 30 minutes until speed limit kicks in. Same with party cove, back water jacks cove, etc. etc.

We got pulled at between 12:30 and 1:00 Sunday am leaving the Horny Toad...he said we were running 38 mph....gave the guy driving a sobriety test...he doesn't drink so it was all good...good thing the riders didn't have have to take one though

On Saturday, we were well within the no wake approaching the spectator area for the shootout when some azzhat in a 29 Outlaw blows past us on plane weaving between all of the slowed boats. No water patrol in sight to pull him over.
