I've never been bothered "yet" any way. But who knows what this year will bring, another year of them needing money they may look for us harder. But maybe not :grinser010: It will be fine just go and have fun..

Does anyone know if this is true. I heard WP was cutting officers for the lack of funding?? And Coast Guard would be filling in? Any truth??

Great, now you guys have "boater profiling" to deal with. Selective enforcement-----way to go. When they need the money, they know where to get it too-----legally. I thought taxes were to fund law enforcement.
Not fund encumberment.

Anybody that thinks the actual department gets any money from issuing fines is way off base. Money generated through fines in court does not get paid to the department that issued the citation. The money goes into the county general fund. The fines paid by everyone don't even come close to being able to pay for the actual cost of services for police, courts and jails.
