Over by Manhatten/Frt Riley area somewhere. I remember seeing signs for it when i would take the gsxr out for spins while at KSU.

I'll never know why a person would b!tch about the sound of 2 big blocks ripping up the water.

Sadly, some folks were born without adrenaline glands. Adrenaline gland transplants have been attempted, but it's very rare to see a successful one. Let's hope the medical world catches up soon so we can save more of these poor souls. :evilb:

The sound of two big blocks is great! The sound of the loudest ones on the planet going back and forth screaming "look at me, I've got a loud boat" says something else.........

i do like the noise, but we have to understand that not everybody does, and we share the waterways with everyone. Sooner or later, if people keep being reckless about noise, the gov't will outlaw these boats.

Cars and guns kill people right? Lets outlaw everything, NO HAVING FUN!!

I agree, but I don't see anyone complaining about the harleys screaming up the street at 1:00 in the morning waking up the kids. Why are bikes any different?

Bikes get a pass because other motorists tend to run into them. Everyone figures if you can hear a motorcycle you are less likely to get in an accident with one. I'm not saying it is fair, but that is the sentiment.

And a loud Skater running down the lake at 160 should be 86 dbs.

Speaking of WL, where has he been this year? Haven't seen it out yet.

I have seen it a couple of times, but not much.

I'm cool with the running around, it's idling around PC and revving up the engines for a straight hour that seems ignorant to me.

I'm all for the sound of big CI motors, blower surge, ect ect. But after ten minuets it gets old. But the smell that boat puts out is always welcome in my nasal cavity.
