Boat Ramp at the Quad Cities
I am not familiar with the Quad Cities area but am looking for Directions to a ramp that I can easily unload and reload a 33 OL from one trailer to another. I would prefer not to have to use my motors as the boat has been winterized already. I am going to seal the drive intake and the pipes to hopefully elminate the need to rewinterize. Hopefully I can do this in the next week or two. Thanks in advance.

the lake by CR is the Coralville Resevoire. The west overlook or mahaffey ramps are only about 10 minutes from I-80 and 380 intersection.
If I were you I would find a marina with a travel lift @ Coraville or in the quad cities and move the boat that route or plan on rewinterizing and fire it up for loading.
Just my .02

davenport iowa has a ramp on marquette street right behind modern woodman stadium. the ramp is enclosed by floodwalls sometimes debris will make its way in but it does not have current. other than that you can try the harbor on south concorde. no current there also and since you are just floating the boat that will be ok. but there after you are going to travel out of the QC area to find a ramp that will be easy to use without using the engines. The current runs about 4mph so when you pull on the trailer or beach you always have to compensate for the current. so its hard without power.
Also the ramp in LeClaire has a dock between the ramps so you could hold the boat on ropes there and manage it/. And there is a double ramp in the LeClaire canal that is called green gables. they charge 5 bucks but there is no current in the canal either.
All these are in the QC
