I have a couple condos at the ledges and have an extra 12x40 slip that is just sitting vacant. dock 5. Free to use for a weekend or so. BTW, Ledges is getting a 250 ft. wave break so most slips will have some protection. I have a slip on dock 7 and have no problems with rough water.

Hey guys I'm headed up for the Shootout and need some insight on the Ledges. I understand that docks 1-5 have less rough water than 6-8. Are the docks numbered 8 on point near the main channel to 1 on the inside of the cove?
Where is the closest boat ramp for a 30' boat and where is safe trailer parking nearby? What are the charges?
Are there any buidings that should be avoided?
Thanks,
Sam

Like BD said, Blue Moon is one cove over and a about 1/2 mile by land. Public Beach #2 is about 3-4 miles away by water and land. PB2 charges $5 for ramp in and out and $5 day for the trailer. PB2 has a better ramp, but for a 30', Blue Moon is fine.
Not sure how the docks are numbered at the Ledges, but buildings 10, 9 & 8 have the best view. Make sure to lake front and not lake view. Lake View will be on the second tier.
