Well, I was planning on being there and looking forward to it for a while, but saturday I broke my frickin leg and now there is probably no chance of me making it.
If I do it will only be to Liberty Harbor for the events, or My River Home to watch the shootout both by car.:picard1: Check http://riverbills.com for the river levels and forecasted levels. I was at the Alton Marina a week ago and there was no water. As previsouly stated, Grafton has water and Alton is way low. |
sorry to here about your broken leg hope u have a fast recovery. because u prob. dont have any such thing as light duty
at work . |
Nope, no light duty!!!
Hey if you guys see some goofy looking guy with a tall blonde that is obviously too hot to be with suc a goof, hobbling around on crutches with a broken left leg that will probably be me. Say hi!! |

I got my slip at Liberty Harbor for next weekend. As of yesterday, there were 7 slips left available. If you don't have the required 100mph life jacket, the organizers have purchased some for people to use/rent.

Been trying to get in touch with Liberty Harbor??? was planning on Grafton as I have free storage 2 miles down the road but would rather have boat right there. Hopefully they will reply / call soon. |
Grafton Harbor is pretty nice. They have a restaurant with pretty good food there.

well for the first event, it wasnt to bad. Been alot better for all the people on land if we didnt get 2 inches of rain the night before..kinda turned it into a mud bath. Needed more boats to run forsure if they are going to make it a annual event. We have already started thinking of people to round up for next year. We ran the allison in the under 300 horse class, and we hit 89, but radar is kinda messed up the gps said 94...oh well. If the baja didnt have a blowin gimbal and bellhousing I would have ran this year. Was really impressed with the mti that went 171 in that short of a course, it might be a runner if it gets some more course to run on. But when the awards came around, my buddy went up there to get a trophy or whatever he was getting the guy said that everyone is getting a prize, so he asked so who really won the class the guy said well we really dont know, we have no way to figure it out...ummmm ok??? But anyway..all in all it was a good event..kinda boring when there was no boats running for like 2 hours, and then the event was just over?? So next year, we need some more boats, to make it a really good event, I see no reason why some of the lake of the ozarks shootout boats couldnt come run it..if that mti went 171, that was faster then over half the boats at the ozarks..and the river was nice and flat all day..

Dave your 2nd pass looked SWEET. you had her flying high . My 2nd pass said 79 my gps said 81.9 but it was fun think I took 2nd in my class, out of 2 boats was not so good LOL. mwe do need more boats next year.

We arent even sure if we are going yet or not, if we do, we will have the allison that was at the shootout, and a red hydrostream..to bad that twin engine pontoon isnt running all correctly, and towing it is a complete ***** otherwise we would be bringing that..
