Alton pool and pool 26 are pretty much the same thing. From Lock and Dam 26 (Alton) to Lock and Dam 25 (Winfield).

Sounds like it si going to be right in front of My River Home and the Our Lady of the Rivers monument.

Starting just downstream from My River Home to just upstream from the Venetian.

For any of you that don't know, this is a fundraiser for the Backstoppers, a fantastic organization that helps the families of Fire Fighters and Police Officers killed in the line of duty.

Just glancing, but it looks like it's run a lot like the LOTO Shootout.

if anyone goes, please get some pics, may try and do it next year since its in my back yard. Have never heard anything about it before now, great cause

im pretty sure its the first year. there's allways a few poker runs but never a shootout. never heard of any of the bands playing but i have seen joe dirt a few times and they are good . but i plan on being on the water all day anchored down. i hope there is a good turn out and see some fast passes

there is a nice public ramp right up from the shootout and
its free and has a nice dock called hideaway harbor its a st. charles county park
