Very close from what I have seen posted by them.
The Fountain has an extra 500efi in it compared to the Gladiator. Lots of pics of both boats on MWBP.

I'm 81 GPS with triple 500 EFI's and the Glad is running 92 GPS with 525 EFI's two different animals. Last Saturday the run we did to Captian Rons we didn't come under 70 much. The 44SL did some 116 mph passes and came by us like we were standing still. It was a fun day.

updates? How many hours were on the 500's? I've got 250 just wondering when I need to start thinking about head gaskets, etc. Adam's went around 450 hours I think.

Just short of 400.
The only thing that looked a little iffy was that the
head gaskets didnt look so good inbetween the cylinders.

Still could see the cross hatching in the cyl walls.

Didnt notice any broken valve springs, the lifter
rollers felt good, havent tore into the heads since they
may not be going back on them;)

I dont know how Jeff ran it, or how the previous owner before him ran it, but I do know that since Aug 09', it's been worked pretty hard, and they look pretty daam good, so
judging by how these look, I'd say you shouldnt have to worry for a while
