Illinois River Basin Boating Association's best margarita on the river event will be at the IVY Club on 5/7/11. They'll be people there from all the local boat clubs. Stop by and say hi. If we're on the boat, it's the one with the stereo cranked, lol.

Info on the Margarita contest in Calendar of events

is that the one that has the volly ball net, I went there once with one of my friends it was pretty cool

oops I ment to quote the dude talking about the sandbar on the kankakee, desplains, IL river area

There's a volley ball net that gets put up at Paradice Beach, also. Don't think I've ever seen anyone use tho, lol. They throw horse shoes sometimes and if mullets are your thing, once a year there's the "white trash bash". No date set yet this year.

Please post the date of the "White Trash Bash" when it is available. I was there a couple of years ago. It's quite entertaining. :grinser010:
