We are looking for a place to stay for the shootout (10-13 people), something on the lake with dock space for 2 boats (34ft & 38ft). We would do 2 places if they are very close or next to each other. From what I have read the area to be is around mm19.
Let me know what you have.

The 19MM is where there's a bunch of condo's and bars are and it's not to far from the Shootout.
Check out VRBO.com, click on Osage Beach area, try the Ledges, Heron Bay, etc., you're going to need two of three units, but you'll have a great time, most come with slips you can use while you're there.
Or you can stay down by Captain Ron's at the 34MM, where the Shootout is.
Bars close are Dog Days, Shorty Pants, Paradise, Backwaters, you can't go wrong with any of these bars.

Pete, If you'd like, please PM me your phone # and I'll have a guy contact you (Jarad) who has a house I sold him that he rents out now. The house is perfect for 13 people. Around 5000 SF, two levels, big kitchen and full bar, 6 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, tons of deck space with hot tub on stamped concrete porch. The place decorated nice and enough room for two boats in the dock (calm, protected no wake cove). He has others too but this one is the most appealing. Located in Porto Cima around 13MM.

As for condos, besides the Land's End there is also Park View Bay/Towers. VRBO or Kim at 6 Star Management.

I used to live on the 19mm and now rent at Lands End when i come to town. The benifit to Lands End is your in the middle of everything on the water and by Car. They also have slips of all sizes with a great break wall to protect the boats. I think its around $200 a night. Some come with a slip and some dont but I think a slip is only an extra $25 so your not out that bad. Most at Lands End sleep 8.

My condo is at a place called Kapilana, just on the other side of the Grand Glaize Bridge from Dog Days, so very close to alot of action. A guy by the name of Niel Robinson runs a "resort" there in which he has efficiencies (2 beds, a bath, kitchenette) from like 90 bucks a night, to 3 bedroom condos from something like 200 a night or so. More info can be found at Kapilana.net It is an older complex, but it puts you in the thick of things and you will not have to mountain climb 100's of steps from the boat to where you are sleeping. With some of the newer places, there can be ALOT of steps!
Rental slips are anywhere from 10X24's to 16X44's and everything in between. I am not sure what he gets for them, but the bigger ones, I assume, will go first..

Whatever you want to do you should decide in the next few weeks, because you're wanting to come the weekend of the Shootout and it's crowded and there's tons of people that are doing the same thing as you guys, so don't wait to long or you'll be SOL.
