There will be a few there around 10am, with most rolling in around noon.

I got there at 2 last year and it was packed.

Don't bother getting there too early. I was out at 11 am a year or two ago, and was the second boat at the beach.

East Peoria Boat Club is also having their annual LUAU on the same date. The river should be just a little over 12ft(riverstage) so it is possible to get into their harbor by boat. Those not familiar with the upper lake should follow someone out of the channel. The guy I talked to from the club wasn't sure if they were having a band this year or a DJ. Last year JAMMSAMMICH was there.

Good thing I always have plenty of beer. Looking forward to checking it out up close.

Man, don't ever go by what the wx man says. It almost rained. Had some bad lightning pass just to the south and east. It was def. the biggest WTB so far.
