Default LOTO season length ?

I have always heard that loto dies after Labor Day. Is this true. Would the weekend after Labor Day still be a good time. If things go well with a boat deal im working on then we would be picking it up on thursday the 8th. I was thinking about hanging down for a week or so and breaking it in. Also happens to be the wifeys b-day and only a coincidence. Can you guys give me a heads up...

I would still think there would be plenty to do the weekend after Labor Day.

It dies down, but it's definately not dead. All restaurants and bars will still be open. The season runs into October or later.

Weekend after labor day is fine. LOTO offers great boating in September and October IMO.

I would agree, some of the best boating is in September and early October.

Season length? 24x7x365...all you need is an outboard.

We'll be at it until end of October, but we live here, makes it a little easier.

Many of the bars close down after October, we have plenty of nice days in November and December we make it out. We have boated all 12 months out of the year before. Just depends on the weather and desire to go boating.

Last year we didn't winterize till the first week of Nov. We then caught a nice 70 degree day on Feb 17 & 19. Except for some bass boats we had the lake to ourselves.
