Morton has a few truck-stops, but none that are really conducive to a rig your size. Goodfield may be a good place to stop on 74 between bloomington and East Peoria.

There is also a Shell station right at the turn off of state highway 116 where you turn by Jonahs/East Port, though it can be kind of a pain maneuvering a big boat around there, it's defintiely do-able.

Looks like it.

That is the 4-74 bridge at the Peoria Lock just down from Captain Ron's. There is a channel cut off the river for barges to unload to the West. Nice place to get out of the current and just float.

Not real sure about turnout.. spent the day in belleview, dubuque for the band on the barge party.

good turnout. people were waiting in the canal as well. ck out the pics. and PLOWTOWN i got my boat painted. its red/ black striped now.

Wish I could have made it but I've had a lot going on lately. I've got good and bad news... I won't be attending as many runs nowadays with my boat. I bought a place at Lake of the Ozarks and it will be living there year round

That's what I thought. I've seen the channel from the bridge...been back there though.
