There is a guy on my dock trying to sell a 29 Mach 1 MCOB with Vincent paint. I can get you some information if interested. Want to say the boat is a 2005. It has the swept-back Bravo I on it so I know it is at least an '05.

Nice year boat right there and a lot newer then most you can find! the 314 and 29 are about the same boat same beam just ones a little longer either or would be a nice boat. for what this guys wants to do with it.

I have a 29 Scarab with a single 502mpi at LOTO and still tube behind it. Weekends do get a little rough unless you run it hard enough to get on top of the wakes. Depending where you will be boating there. We use ours mainly on the Gravois arm to the dam.

The 1st boat that caught my eye was a Scarab 29 with twin smallblocks. It sold already. Any input on single vs twins?

I had a 272LS Formula with twins before I bought the single engine Scarab. Bought the Scarab to reduce some of the maintenance. The Formula was a good ride but went through almost twice the fuel at higher RPM.

The 29 Scarab with the 502MPI will do 60-65mph but still has a small enough wake you can ski or tube behind due to the beam only being 7 ft 6 in.
