What hotels or resorts are close by Captain Ron's for the bud shoot out?

Captain Ron's has some rooms, but they're likely booked by now. There are a number of places to stay in the vicinity and others on here surely have better info than I do.

I live next to captain rons... Your not going to get anything close this late... Also Don't think its the bud shoot out anymore? Lucas motor oil I think is the sponsor this year

Give Greg or Laurie at Red Oak Resort a call, If they have anything left, it is a convenient location with a great boat ramp that you can actually get a full size boat in and out of. They are down a cove with no channel view but are right at the 32mm so right at start or finish area depending on how the course is set up. They are right next to Bulldogs Beach House. Easy to get to, off 5/7 just south of Greenview on blacktop (some of the parking areas are gravel, but it is paved everywhere else. I stayed there this spring for a few months while working in the area and was very pleased with the whole experience.
