Looking for poker run(s) one the upper Mississippi/St Croix rivers
A few years ago I had a great time on a couple of runs in the Stillwater/Hudson/Lake Pepin area. I am looking to do it again. I would appreciate any info that can be provided.

"The 2013 AIO Event is CANCELLED!
In July and August of 2012 the Apostle Islands Offshore Powerboat Club (“AIO”) worked closely with Legendary Waters Resort and Casino (“LW”) to plan and host an offshore powerboat Fun Run test event. As a part of the 2012 test event, LW & AIO identified and planned improvements required for the marina in order to accommodate an annual event to begin in 2013 with LW as the headquarters for AIO. The test event was a great success but since then, multiple staff replacements at LW have resulted in a loss of the knowledge gained at the 2012 event. In addition, the planned marina improvements have not been made and the launch ramp has deteriorated to the point it will not safely accommodate some of the boats over 38 feet. With one month to go and no approved plans for LW to complete any of the improvements or repair the launch facility, AIO has no option other than to cancel the event that was scheduled for August 10-12, 2013. If you are interested in making your own plans for boating in the Apostle Islands area, please feel free to contact AIO and we can provide recommendations to fit your needs."

yes, the actual 'poker run' IS cancelled. due the hosting site issues.
however, they ARE having a day on the water anyway!! guess I never checked thier actual website, just going on thier facebook invite for the event

Hugh, it looks like from a post on their facebook page that the Apostle Islands run won't be happening this year. Here is a quote from their page:
