Default Lake Koshkonong in Wisconsin

Does anyone boat on Lake Koshkonong?
How far can you go on the Rock River seeing that it goes through Lake Koshkonong?
Good places to grab a bite to eat at?
Good Launch ramps?

J-Bonz,

Nope it wasn't me. I do have the yellow trim and red checkered flag on my boat though. I boat on the Illinois Chain. Who knows maybe we've seen each other at some point.

From what I have heard, Koshkonong has a lot of shallow spots that are hidden

I am about 15 miles from the closest launch and have to agree with others. It's a pretty shallow and muddy lake. We only boat on there once a year for the shoot out races at sunset bar & grill. That actually took place last weekend hence why i was asking if you were anchored out by us. Not many places to go to now since the anchor inn (in edgerton) burned down a few weeks ago.

Don't go too shallow. Not bad if you have an outboard. I could not even get mine off the trailer at the Anchor Inn ramp, as the trailer would fall off the end of the ramp before the boat could float off.

Wow, that's surprising since its probably the nicest ramp on the lake. However the water level does fluctuate. It has dropped at least 1.5' from a month ago..
