How rough is the water at your slip?? Should have 3-4" on each side. Poles with plastic bumpers are about 4-5". I'm 8'4" in a 10' slip and on weekends have 2-3' rollers when docking. I may ping pong off a pole sometimes on the weekends, but as long as you have a rub rail, you should be fine. Are you putting a lift in??? There are options to eliminate 90% of the side to side lift movement. A friend here has 9'+ beam 42 Legacy in a 10' slip.

Well that makes me feel better.
No lift for now.. I would only keep the boat there over a weekend, I was told it does get rough between 12-6pm but we`re usually on the water anyway...I have`t experienced that so far but weekends haven`t been that busy yet.

Here is another suggestion: Get a few of the flat cushion bumpers and place them along the side of the slip. It is easy to move them around and place where you need them.

Once you have put the boat in a couple of times, you will no longer have the pucker factor!

Had a beer with the guy last night. Now I understand why you asked about him having a slip. The dock he will be on won't be in until fall so they have been assigning temp slips. He has a smaller (12' x 32') temp slip on the dock furthest out towards Dog Days. As he doesn't have a boat, that doesn't bother him so much now other than if potential renters have boats that would have better fit in his larger, permanent slip. The real kicker is he owns two jet skis and his jet ski spots are on the same dock that won't be in until fall and he has no place to put them at the condo now.

Yes, they have had some challenges over there for the unit owners. I had a contract on #306 pre-construction, and they got started so late we were already rolling on the subdivision before they had any units ready, so I passed.
It seems to be moving well now and looks nice.

No trailer parking unfortunately.
I leave it at the state park after we launch.
We`ll drive the boat to the slip while erica takes the truck back.
I also have a outdoor storage spot 5 minutes down the road if needed.

btw,
I dropped my pricing and started getting more hits and 2 more reservations.

Easiest thing to do is use the ramp at Public Beach #2 and store the trailer there for $5/day or so.

that is exactly what we always did for shoot out and Cig rally. Never really heard of any theft issues.

Over the years there I only had, of all things, Bearing Buddy bras lifted from my trailer. I did usually remove my spare just to be safe.
