Default Monroe Lake Powerboating Friendly

Our oldest son is a Freshman at IU. Is Monroe Lake Powerboating friendly? We have a Powerquest 340 Vyper with twin 700s. Would that boat be well received on the lake? It would be fun to take our son and his buddies for a spin on the lake. It appears to be fairly large at 10,000 acres and the pics look gorgeous..

Been awhile since I have been there but there were a few performance boats around, many cruisers. IIR there is a no wake after sunset there so plan accordingly.
