You did a great job. Now I know where to go if I want to re-do a boat.

Left side steering, interesting choice.

I have thought about dual side mirrors, you will have to let me know how the rear view mirror works out. Looking back between the front seats, I wonder if the field of vision is usefull?

Thanks Frank-

We are not quite done yet, I have a few more this up my sleeve for this project.

Yeah the left side drive is different for some people, but i really like it. I had a hard time having the throttles on the right side of me. My old motion was setup this way so I decided to switch this one over too.

Also the center mirror works great. A friend of mine down here has a 30 spectre with the mirror in the middle and after riding in that I had to get one. Makes it much easier to drive in a crowded area.

Nice job. I really like the windshield. I had a 30 Motion and after a Poker Run your neck would be sore and your ears ringing from the wind. It was a factor in getting rid of the boat. I also rig all my boats with LH steering. I much prefer to throttle with my right hand. Look how many people complain about Fountian boats with LH throttles? RH steering was started years ago to counter act the prop wanting to twist the boat on outboards. Any reason to have RH steering on a offshore boat unless racing with a throttle man????? This isn't England...

Unless you want to walk between the seats to get to a cabin. Some boats still do have stand up seats.

You are right about the V-Hulls, it would be tough have throttles in the middle. However then there are cats. They ride so nice no need for stand up seats. And cuddy cabins are for cruisers. LOL

I agree 100%. Nothing rides like a cat.

Well I finished the boat late Wednesday night and took the boat out this morning. A few small bugs to work out tomorrow but all in all it ran really well. Here are a few pictures of the finshed project.

Here are a few more pictures from the Fort Myers Offshore fun run. All the good pictures were taken from JayBoat here on OSO. The new windshield is awsome I am able to wear a hat at any speed and it will not blow off!

Where did you get the straps for the back seat? Those would be greatly appreciated by some passengers.
