44' MTI Extreme

For those of you that could not make the Pickwick event, I brought a new 44' MTI to race in the OSS Extreme class. Ran good enough to win it's class but still has a few issues to be worked out. Definitely has potential. :drink:

Re: 44' MTI Extreme

From one who was there, that boat is the most incredible machine I have ever seen. I hung out with Gary most of the weekend and he is very excited about the boat and its potential. I watched the Race with Scism from a small partially sinking dock with 20 people we had to beg to let stay with so Randy could try to see turn 1. He was right about turn one. You guys looked GREAT, Needless to say, Randy was very happy with the race. It was unbelieveable how hard you would pull CRC coming down the back stretch. It's going to be a great year for You and MTI. :D :D :D
Congrats
Michael

Thanks Michael. As I stated in my original post and as echoed by Gary Stray via your post, this boat has some serious potential.
Dave

Should make the Shoot Out Interesting. You may just have the 2 fastest boats there. :evilb: :evilb:

Not to change the subject but when are you E-Dock guys (and gals) coming to LOTO? Maybe we can get together at my marina for a few ice cold Budweiser Selects! :drink:

Can't speak for everyone else but I plan on making a trip up as soon as Randy gets my new boat built. I'm sure there will be several of us make the trip. Hoping to get the boat by July 4th.

I'm always in for a LOTO trip. I plan on having Woodsy deliver my new one to LOTO for some seat time with the pros before bringing it home.

Sounds good - just let me know a little in advance. I'm usually at the lake on weekends that we're not gone racing.

Glad to hear someone else has the same problem. He can never say enough about anything. The guy is like a woman when you get him on the phione, talk, talk, talk. Lots of hot air.

LOL....well I can't wait to see it run when the "few issues" are worked out and its running better then "good enough". If it wasn't for the rollover I think you were going to lap the field! Looking good as always Dave! Great start to the season and it should be an exciting year. Will be to loto soon to party and support your sponser. :drink: :D

This one isn't a Turbine, this one has the motors out of the 36 I believe. The turbine MTI is another boat altogether.
Sure would be nice to have choices like that.

the extreme cat class is run whatever piston power you want, the turbine class is well, turbines.... dave's turbine was really built for speed records more than racing... he will let that pistion MTI beat on those turbine boats a little... :drink:

Careful there Sean - those turbines make some serious steam! I know that mine make about twice the horsepower of the piston motors in my Extreme boat. :drink:
