I know and I really screwed up. My wife and I were in Baltimore last weekend celebrating out 5 year anniversary and I realized on the drive home Sunday that I had made a horrible mistake - not giving you a shout!!!! That would have just topped off an already great weekend with my wife.........

I would have thought we'd have gotten up to DC to visit my wifes father some during last boating season but he came to us a couple times and we never made it.

Mlb - Thank you for the offer. My buddy in Smithfield actually has a 32 Spectre that I'll be going out on in the springs. He runs about 105 I believe with a pair of egg-beaters on the back. Its a very cool boat - every time he turns his head sideways at speed, he loses a pair of sunglasses!!

The boat their talking about has stand up head, king size bed, stand up cuddy and seating for 8+. I have carried 11 Miami to KY with luggage for 13 for a week on one of those boats.
A 40 skater is more compareable to a 42/44 MTI RP.
And while the RP pleasure has the same bottom as the SUV model they rode on, the ride is not comparable due to the CG difference and the sit down seating and windshield on the RP version.

No problem, out of curiosity who in Smithfield has the 32? I know Bobby with the 30 but didn't realize there was another outboard 32 in the area. Did Josh find one? I know he was talking about getting a 30 but did he find a deal on a 32 instead?

One of these days I'd love to get a ride on a bigger cat as well to see the difference. I'm sure they ride differently just wonder if the added expense would be worth it.

Did a few events and was able to take along 6-8 people with room to spare . Not set up to run with the sit down windshield boats . Heck we're talking king size bed , pump out head and a blender . It does get on plane at 20 mph , and will cruise all day at 100 . Set up with mild reliable motors it's a 120+ pleasure boat . She may not be the fastest , but my friends and I are very comfortable . :ernaehrung004:

Exactly what I'd want in a Cat - be able to spend the night on it, take along a good size crew, and still cruise 80-90. Head is a MUST for me as is moderate power. Blender sounds like a recipe for disaster - I'd have to put Daquari colored interior in it to cover the stains that would be sure to appear late at night.

How would something like this handle the rough compared to my 35 Cafe?
Ray, in the rough how is the ride in the MTI handle compared to your Velocity or Fountain?

I wish I didn't have other priorities stacked in front of my next boat purchase.

I love my cat , it is the most fun I have had with a boiat yet . The pleasuse layout and mufflers make it very user friendly . We mostly only go out in light to moderate seas , and it has a great ride . The staggard 41 Velocity smashed through big water like no other ride I have ever been on . I know you can run cats hard in rough water but I am not comfortable enough to try that myself yet . Your invitation for a ride is good anytime

She's up for sale in the classifieds ,can be bought complete or less power . Fun boat that is ready to go and runs great , any reasonable offers considered .
