light on fuel and load ran a best of 107...everyday conditions w fuel and passengers just under 100. Not trying to compete w the much smaller outboard cats as she's 41'10" to back of motors, 11' wide, 66" tunnel, a true 38'6" running surface ( not including tunnel extensions or bustles), and weighs 7300 lbs. She shows her ass in the rough stuff...

I remember Cosker said the same thing, this boat isn't a 34-36 ft cat but he was going to make newer ones lighter layups. 107 with 400's is fine, maybe the 450s will get it past the 110 mark. It is a sharp looking boat just siting at the dock!

If I were in the market for a OB cat, this mystic would be one of them at the top of the list. You get the size, space and ride of an I/o cat but the benefits of an OB. Job well done to mystic again

the 34-36 ft cats aren't really 34-36 ft lol...but that's a whole other story
Not really going after the top speed numbers the smaller boats are putting up. Want everyone to be comfortable, have good wind protection from all seats, good visibility, ride quality etc...the 450's didn't really have a big increase at the top but did have a better bottom end and midrange. This is the boat you want to run everyday all day and not have your passengers in the back seat hanging on as if they're riding a mechanical bull, "was how one clients wife described one of the competitions boats" after coming back in from a sea-trial at LOTO last year during the sport cat shootout. They are all badass boats it just depends what your boating style is...
