Can't get the 400's no availability. So we are going with 4 300R V8's

Did they give you a speed estimate with the 4 300R's? I think you are making a good choice in going with the 300R V8s over the 400R L6 motor. The new technology and torque of the V8 is superior in my view and it will be a platform that is widely supported for many years to come. I have a pair of 300R V8s on my pontoon and a set of 450R V8s on my M37r and they are fantastic engines.

They said it would be 3-4 mph slower then the 3 x400's which is around 84mph or so. I agree the added torque should be good.

What is the benefit of going with quad 300's vs trip 450s? I'm sure there is a reason for it, just don't know what that is. Thanks in advance.

It's roughly $25k more per motor to go from a 300r to a 450r, so again a $75,000 increase in price for similar performance. As you know it is easy to keep throwing stuff in a build but the price becomes way to crazy. I am hoping this is the right move.

The way the market is going, you could order the 450;s and sell them for a profit when they actually arrived... in the meantime run the 300's

That thing will be washed so many times by the time you use it, you’ll need to re apply the ceramic coating 🤣🤣
