Did they give you a speed estimate with the 4 300R's? I think you are making a good choice in going with the 300R V8s over the 400R L6 motor. The new technology and torque of the V8 is superior in my view and it will be a platform that is widely supported for many years to come. I have a pair of 300R V8s on my pontoon and a set of 450R V8s on my M37r and they are fantastic engines.

It's roughly $25k more per motor to go from a 300r to a 450r, so again a $75,000 increase in price for similar performance. As you know it is easy to keep throwing stuff in a build but the price becomes way to crazy. I am hoping this is the right move.
