This series was the most exciting non-event of the day.
Wicked was running a very tight line right at the first buoy, Teague was swinging wide into the turn.
Both were at speed- Wicked over 100, Teague around 80-90 (my estimate).
The boats passed within five feet of each other.
Teague told me later that they never even saw them. Don't know about Wicked...
To give an idea of how much time elapsed for these shots,
I was shooting high speed at seven frames per second.
So these three shots happened in the span of about half a second.
Scared the sh!t out of us in the helo.
