I start to get sentimental as Key West approaches.
2011 = FUN

Went up to Cocoa Beach over the weekend with the Miss Geico team for the air show. Seas were too rough for a boat vs. jet demo race, so the boat did not get wet.

Seas were 5-7 in the morning and built all day.
I heard 10-12's were being predicted for the mid-afternoon.

The seals did some precision parachute jumps and a few of 'em jumped into some extremely rough surf TWICE to do a sea rescue demo.

This first shot gives some idea of the water conditions as two of the three are hoisted back into the chopper.

Got the opportunity to meet a lot of the pilots at the morning meeting. The dude flyin this thing was cool.

Gotta give the guys on that sailboat huge props. They were there to give the pilots a center point with the mast of the boat.
Anchored in that water all day!

Timing on this one was pure luck.
Auto focus picked up on the flag- cool.

Heavy seas kept Miss Geico on the trailer in Cocoa Beach.
