Jay,

Really nice shooting, thanks!

Remindes me of the old days of offshore racing, Point Pleasant NJ, Ocean City MD, and Key West.

Miklos and Gary know how to run a boat in the rough. Straight, nose down, keep it in the water. Can't go anywhere when you are in the air! Nice job guys!

Got a few more.

Mike, I got the VR I version- looks brand new, very little use.
I'll take care of that 'new look' right quick.

Jay, you will love that 70-200 VRI. Very sharp and fast. I have had mine for a little over a year and is my favorite. It usually resides on my D-200

Try the Nikon 1.7 tel-extender. Makes the lens equivalent to a 120 - 340 and almost no loss in image quality. You do lose some speed but it still works out to f 4.8.

Again thanks for the great pics,

Thanks, Padraig! So far, I am totally impressed with it- can't wait to try it in a non-rain environment. Imax and Shaun K have been pushing me for months to get it, and some great friends in the offshore community helped make it happen after I destroyed my other mid-range. The teleconverter is next.
