The guy in the outboard boat in the first pic in post 20 sure chose an interesting vantage point!

Great pics, and some awesome boats as usual at that run.

Where was Pure Platinum? Not one shot of Bill's boat.

Where was the sandbar cookout? I haven't seen that before in previous runs. The run looked to be about 50 boats or so, is that right?

Normally theres over 150 boats. The sandbar party was new this year

I know, I attended 5 years in a row starting with the year Hurricane Arlene/Aileen whatever cancelled the run! I was there the year you piloted the 51 OL from Hideaway......

From the 107 shots posted on the guy's site it appeared to be about 50 boats total.

Only about 50 boats?
That seems like a very small turnout for one of the best runs on the east coast.
The few years that we went there were more that 100 boats.
I guess the economy is taking it's toll, even for the heavy hitters
