I was trying a brighter setting on the faux hdr plugin on a few of those- made for much more interesting than the original.

FWIW, I wasn't either, quite the contrary....IMHO I felt the shots were so perfect that they didn't need the fancy post-edit effects to make them look good...sort of the opposite of lipstick on a pig.

Thanks to all the guys that take and share the photos with those of us that can't be there in person..it is VERY much appreciated.

It is great to at least feel like we are there thru these great pics.....even if some of them make me feel like I am having an Acid flashback, or that I have my cheap Walmart Polarized shades on.....Ha, Ha..J/K, couldn't resist!!

I agree with you - it is easy to get caught up in the 'magical' element of post processing. guilty to that one.

It was easier to not get caught up in "magical" post processing in the old days...the last "analog" post processing I did was back in 1975 on a Beseler 23C...so WTF do I know :-)

You have a great eye, and I am jealous you get to go and take all of those great pics these days...keep up the great work!!
