Jay, it sucks that we live vicariously thru your pics then people want to bash them. Thank you for your great shots and sad they are not always perfect for others.

Classic driver error here. Hard to believe someone driving a boat of this caliber getting caught in this position. Tres Martin 101...

i also wonder how much fine-tuning went into setting up this boat? and yes... if it the set-up could have benefitted from some fine-tuning, i'm sure tres would have addressed that as well.

jay, what is the vhull doing on the left hand side of the pic? i had one pull out in front of us while navigating in the 140 MPH range thru the second left hander a few years ago. took 200 or so gallons of cold, fresh DS water over the nose as he was moving to the middle and i was running the outside. crossed his wake, got a cool refresher of water from the hot day, crossed his wake and passed safely -- thank goodness! can only imagine what was going thru the driver's head -- not much, i would presume!!! :-)

Joe, that's the pace boat. The others are starting to pass him as they approach the point, and we all know what happened there...
