So then my question is what prompted the change. Was it just a cosmetic decision? I think the tinted window added a bit of evil to the boats look, but the clear looks equally at home on the boat too...

It was discussed in the Flight Club thread, the windshield was too dark to see through.

I must have missed that... That's a bummer, it did look cool tinted. But got to do what is safest, it still looks bad a$$...
