Skaterfest 2015
|
I have been waiting for this since last summer. This year try to come a little closer to the Canadian shoreline of Downtown Windsor by Caesars Windsor Casino on your way back up the Detroit River to Lake St. Clair.
|
That 368 is the stuff of dreams and that interior is amazing. Sorry we are missing it.
|
Just rolled into town
|
See you in the morning......

I got some pretty good video this year. I am gonna get it all put together over the next few days and will post a link. I got the Skaters going both ways and all of the boats from the Mike Fiore Memorial run as they were on their way to the Windsor Yacht Club. (I was in the white, blue, green Concept CC. I was sitting north of Belle Isle as the Skaters entered the river. Then I was just south of Belle Isle as they made their return trip up the river). The water was getting pretty confused right around Cobo/RenCen area. There was a ton of cruiser traffic. Also did anyone else see that 198' yacht "Blue Moon". Wow!
What happened to the silver/purple skater? We saw it heading north by Cobo on one motor. It is a beautiful boat...... |

Seen you guys coming up the Detroit River from Wyandotte on your way to the your spot by Belle Isle and Peche island. I'm looking forward to seeing your video. As usual Flight Clubs Skater Fest was great to watch and one of the highlights of summer and also getting to seeing the boats that were in the Mike Fiore Memorial Poker Run at the WYC, can only be sumed up as a great day. |
Cool drone shot of Skaterfest Headquarters by Chip Miller...
it was the largest fleet ever for the event. We had a blast. https://farm1.staticflickr.com/435/2...62ddfd1e_o.jpg |
