I have a Formula 271, a big heavy boat for single power. The gimble seems to be really tight but it leaks BAD around the top pin/bushing. Do you have a kit or a service to upgrade this? Sending you the entire assembly is not a problem. I hate to spend a lot of money just to fix a problem without getting an upgrade of some sort.:cool-smiley-026:

there is a Helmut and ring upgrade you can purchase but without seeing where the leak is i couldn't tell you if would it would fix your problem. I dont want you to spend money you dont have to and not fix what you have going on. you need to find the leak first and then do the upgrade if you want to but if you have been running the boat for a while and have not had a problem with the transom assy then as much as i want to sell you something I'm going to have to say dont spend the money if it isn't broken
