It sucks that due to lack of funds I missed out on a great deal there...I may now be going with Lightning headers due to much lower cost.
They are not full stainless, only the inner tubes are but orange painted outer tubes might look just as nice in my case.

teaguecustommarine,
Are you aware of these headers being applied on a stock 6.2L MerCruiser and, if so, what were the performance gains? Thanks.

You will also have to get new tips or remove the pinwheel baffles in the corsa tips.
Honestly other than it will ride like a different boat taking all that weight off the rear doubt you will see an major speed gains.

What is the reason for the need to remove the baffles?

CMI claims each header weighs about 20 lbs, so the weight reduction will be nice. Do you know what each cast iron manifold weighs?

I know not to expect big gains in power on a stock powerplant, but long term I plan to make some engine modifications or go to new engines all together that will really make use of a good exhaust. Although, it would be nice to talk to someone that has made the swap on the 6.2L to get their feedback and make sure there were no issues with installation. I wonder if they have actually sold any of these headers.

They are sold out of them, but they now have the new SBC E-top's

I took my boat right up to CMI and these "older" style headers they were selling at blow out price would not fit.
They protrude past the block a couple inches so unless your set up does not use "S" pipes they may work, but on mine with "S" pipes they did not.
(I have the build sheet if you'd like to message me your email I can forward a copy to you.)

I have the 350 Mag and didn't get them on yet but will post results soon. I don't know about the tips...mine aren't Corsa tips, they are straight through so that didn't apply to me.

Dyno testing showed a 10-15% HP gains with the older style and I don't know what they claim on the new E-tops but I'm hopeful of more gains than just weight loss.
