Thanks
Does anyone have a part number for the baffle kit?

I have to say their customer servicer has been 150% to the positive. I would like to THANK Jeff and Scott for their help as well as the employee's for KE.

Yes the optional dual baffle insert is a part #620-154026 and sells for $12.95 each. These are designed to be held in the later model breather extensions that have a retaining ring machined internally on the breather extension.

I'm having the same problem with oil puking all over the bilge from the KE valve covers... Eddie Young just built my motors and they are just about a year old.. First it was the Port motor and now the Starboard motor is leaking oil like sieve...

We had to pull the boat out this weekend and take to the shop down here at the lake to try and get this situation fixed.

I do like the two piece design but can't put up with all of the oil that's leaking into the bilge...

If KEPP can give me some suggestions on how to correct it it would be greatly appreciated... Jim

Cool to see there is somewhat of customer service left these days. Now if you can get Drew Marine or West Coast Marine to follow in these footsteps I'd kiss your a$$!!! I doubt that will happen so I wont be puckering up anytime soon!!!

Well I just want to make sure were talking about the same things here. Do the motors have blow by? If so you would want to speak with Eddie more about that as he may have answers. There's nothing that lets just say wears out that would cause the covers to not leak and then later on start to leak unless they came loose or broke or??? But if you can narrow down a bit where you think the actual leak is and give us a call we will do our best to help you resolve it.

No it's not blow-by, we had a little thru the breathers so and we installed some Puke Tanks to stop that. What I'm having is a large amount of oil coming out between the top valve cover and the base more than likely past the O-Ring. It runs down the valve cover base into the bilge. There's no damage and they are not loose that's been checked several times including this weekend.

I see where Eddie mentioned in another thread on these valve covers that the new bases he has been getting have a rubber gasket on top of the rails where the top meets the base? Is that something that can be added to the ones that
I presently have?

I'd like to call and talk to someone just let me know who to ask for or they can call my cell.
