Coming to a oso screen real soon. Thats exactly what im working on, a call it per say a 4300 cruiser, that does upper 70's with Diesels. (80mh would be better Terry) Im looking at a retractible bimini front and back and then some side curtains that can be stowed in the cabin. Also Nortech said they would build me an anchor that drops down below the rub rail, somewhat like the 38/48 Fountain cruiser. Jeff

ASD 8's 75 MPH, 65 cruise, WOT is 50GPH.
Don't know how you could do a mast that looked good, was strong enough, and was high enough that you didn't microwave your melon.
If you want the radar do the arch and it gives you a nice platform for the fore and aft bimini.

Those are nice numbers. What GPH at 60mph?

I was thinking of an aluminum mast about 6" at base tapering at it got higher w/ a crossbar up top for mounting.
It could rake forward, and be 2ft over drivers heads?
I always thought this could look good on a 38-40 magnum, but never did any drafting.

Jeff, sounds like your putting together an awsome package.
What kind of boating do you do? Any cruising?

Now, that is a 27ft boat, and i think it would look better on a larger boat... scale wise. I would not have to be any higher than on this boat.

That's certainly functional but where ya gonna put it?
Head rests, sun lounge, swim platform?

just behind the rear bench, attached to the stringers.
Mold the engine hatch around it.
I was never a big fan of radar arches on the lower narrow boats.
On a big 53ft magnum it looks in place, but they start to look tall on lower freeboard, narrower boats, IMO.

I thought this may be a solution.
