2 totally different boats, take a ride in both and then make your desicion, 36 for 36 which is actually a 38-39. Good luck. Jeff

Jeff,
Is the Nor-Tech riding more like a 38'? We are all set to go to the Miami boat show in Feb. and hope to get a good comparison with as many cats as possible. Hope to make some good contacts too, even though most of the dealers/sales people I've met from Florida I don't care for! :chimp:

Custom........I like your color choices!!!! All of my boats have had Ohio State Buckeye colors! Your boat would be the perfect cat for us!

My Baja 405 is the catalog boat for 2007. We let them take our boat to Vegas for the photo shoot this past Spring.

If you get an opportunity to go on a poker run, most likely you will see both of these brands side by side, docked, running, and so on. The Nortech is definitely larger, I have been on both and prefer the ride better as well. Miami is coming up, that is a great place to check out quality as well. Good Luck, Jeff

Dred, call Terry Sobo at Nortech, I'm sure he would be happy to show you the 36, after owning one and riding in a spectre, I believe the spectre would fit inside the Nortech, It is 38'2" and the biggest difference is the stability and better rough water ride, plus very unique design features.

no disrespect to spectre... but not in the same league IMO.
Im sure the price reflect that also..
I do see things looking up for spectre though.
