Does anyone here no the story behind this 38' Nor-tech V? How would you guys compare this to a 38' Cig Top Gun? Thanks in advance for the help.

Re: need info on 38' V
I looked at this boat 3-4 years ago when it first went up for sale. The motors were being done, at first they said it was going to be 550hp then they said they just went back to stock. I think it would be nicer than a TG in everyway if you are looking at the same $$$ . The only reason I didn't buy is no room for a gen.

Seems like a very reasonable price for a lot of boat. Don't know how good this model runs in comparison to their newer 39' but how bad can it be ??

It's a lot of boat for the $.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe it's the only Nor-Tech that is a little bit shorter than it's model number.
Really nice integrated bimini top.
Awesome ride

I also thought the integrated bimini top was cool too. But I think what concerns me the most on this boat is leg room between the rear bench and driver seat. And if the boat has an enclosed head or not. Trying to get rid of my Baja 30' Outlaw SST. One credit due to Baja is that they make a nice boat with lots of room and an enclosed head and 80MPH with HO's. I'm just tired of dealing with Baja's warranty procedures. The worst I have ever encounterd. Also 30' is a little small out in the ocean!
